The zukunft.bahnhof foundation aims to realize and make visible future-oriented projects and concepts: In Lichtensteig, in Toggenburg and beyond.
It was founded in 2021, is the custodian of the land next to the Lichtensteig station site, where the project is located, including the heritage protected building ´Bahnhalle´, and had supported the launch of the zukunft.bahnhof initiative.

 

Since the project was launched, it has taken on a life of its own and the foundation now sees itself as a supporter of the general project and its sub-projects. Within this framework, it sets its own priorities in the future. In particular, it would like to strengthen the potential of interaction between the various areas of zukunft.bahnhof in the context of other local initiatives. 

Through the project in Lichtensteig - and in the spirit of the founder - the foundation is looking for ways to rethink the world, our society and how we live together as society.
