A vibrant cultural life has a long tradition on the site. With passion, creativity, and a rich program, the Chössi Theater association has shaped the place and inspired people over the past 40 years. We continue this history – with a fresh perspective on the future.
The heritage protected Bahnhalle will be renovated in 2026 at the earliest. What will be preserved is its character as a place that connects people. What will come is a contemporary and multifunctional theater infrastructure that opens up new possibilities. After the renovation, the Bahnhalle will once again be a place where culture comes alive – this will also include the restaurant, which will be again open for public. The theater will reopen under new management, but don't worry: The Chössi Theater association will remain an important partner and continue to contribute its experience and enthusiasm.
